After the season finale at the Vogelsbergring, the next practice sessions are scheduled for September at the Erftlandring in Kerpen-Manheim.

Jakob Janda, born in 2012, is in his second season of karting. What began as trying things out in his first year has long become a full race programme: 5 race weekends per season.

He competes in the Tillotson T4 Senior class of the AvD-ACV German Karting Series Light, the national series run by AvD and ACV. He is looked after by DC Motorsport, and trains whenever possible at the Erftlandring.

What sets him apart: consistency. In his second season, 2026, he reached the finish in every race - in a field where many weekends end early.

Tillotson T4 is a one-make class: every driver runs the same engine and the same equipment. Nothing here can be bought with a bigger budget - what counts is driving, set-up and race craft.

That is exactly why results in this class say so much about a driver: whoever is at the front got there on their own.
